In August 2002, we had our first Shabbat service and we have not stopped growing. In 2004, we moved to our existing campus at Bancroft Circle<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Consistent with the tenets of Messianic Judaism, Beth Adonai maintains a Jewish identity, heritage and culture which reflects the faith and practice of the first-century Believers. We seek to be a welcoming community where people from a variety of religious (both Jew and Gentile) and ethnic backgrounds can feel at home. As a blended and inclusive community, we seek to cultivate a positive place for interfaith couples and people from the wider Jewish community.<\/p>\n<p>Given the events which occurred in Israel on October 7, 2023 (22 Tishrei 5784) and the correlating uptick seen in antisemitism, Beth Adonai has implemented additional security measures for visiting non-members. The Nursery is located downstairs on the right side of the Fellowship Hall. A flashing pager will be given to you when you check in in case you are needed during the service.<\/p>\n<p>You are Invited to Stay for Oneg (lunch) after Service:<br \/>\nEvery week after service the Congregation provides a free lunch to anyone who wishes to stay. We invite you to stay and have a bite to eat and fellowship. Sharing a meal provides a relaxed opportunity for people to get to know each other better and enjoy a time of fellowship over a meal. . Come stay and share a meal with us.<\/p>\n<p>Special Worship Services to Celebrate the Feasts and Festivals:<br \/>\nWe celebrate all the Feasts and Festivals as an expression of our faith in Messiah Yeshua. We also use these events as an outreach opportunity to the community. From the Purim celebration, Passover Seder, High Holy Day services, and Hanukkah celebration, there are many opportunities to share in the rich roots of our faith.<\/p>\n<p>Please refer to the website for dates and times of these events.<\/p>\n<p>About \u00a0our founder Rabbi Scott (1966-2021):<\/p>\n<p>Rabbi Scott Sekulow accepted Yeshua as his Messiah during Yom Kippur services in 1992. In 1994, he answered the call for full-time ministry work. Following the call to actively pursue international mission work, Rabbi Scott founded Israel\u2019s Harvest Ministries. In 2002, World Magazine recognized his work by naming him as one of the most influential Messianic Jews of the past 5 centuries. Rabbi Scott has ministered in many countries &#8211; Israel, Ukraine, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, and Cuba to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>In 2001, Rabbi Scott \u00a0and his wife, Judy, planted Congregation Beth Yeshua in Macon, GA and in 2002 founded\u00a0 Congregation Beth Adonai.
