In actuality, \u201cChrist\u201d is a title in much the same way as \u201cPresident\u201d or \u201cKing.\u201d This title is taken from the Hebrew word \u201cMashiach\u201d or \u201c\u201dAnointed One,\u201d which was translated into the Greek\u00a0 \u201cChristos\u201d and later anglicized to \u201cChrist.\u201d \u00a0The actual English translation of Mashiach or \u201cAnointed One\u201d is \u201cMessiah.\u201d Once again, using \u201cMessiah\u201d rather that \u201cChrist,\u201d is more accurate.
