Israel’s Foresting Efforts Set Back 50 Years Due To The War!

Question:

Israel’s Foresting Efforts Set Back 50 Years Due to The War!

Answer:

This is according to Paul Gts which rained down on northern Israel this past summer sending people into shelters. Not only was there a human toll there was also an environmental toll. These rocks set off a rash of fires that destroyed more than a quarter (750,000 trees) of the forests in Israel. Today, blackened woods are all that remain of magnificent forests that once was green and full of life.

Israel has lost decades of hard work as the war ravished the land. While we tend to think of the cost in terms of people, buildings, and infrastructure, we often forget the cost to the environment. Before the eyes of world, the great forests of Israel were laid to waste. Not since the time of the Crusades has Israel lost so many trees. Israel is now asking for our help to reforest the land.

In Leviticus 19 the Lord commands us to plant trees in the land. He also promises us that when we do plant according to His instructions in a short time our harvests will be increased and we will eat of its fruit. Rehabilitation of the forests is expected to take up to 60 years, however if we help to plant trees as God has instructed He will shorten that time.

As believers in Messiah, we are love Israel with the same love Yeshua demonstrated. By planting trees, we will impact the climate, environment and countryside in a very tangible way. We desire to plant a garden of 100 trees and eventually, with your help, a forest of 1000 trees in Northern Israel to replenish those destroyed.

Join with us as we bless Israel and return her forests to their previous splendor. Your donation to this special project will help us to reach our goal. With each donation of $30.00 or more, we will send you a beautiful 8.5” x 11” color certificate with a special inscription you specify . (Please see website for example.)

Let us stand together to raise a forest in Israel.

“I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, so that people may see and know, consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.” Isaiah 41:19
