Visitor Information

Beth Adonai

Congregation Beth Adonai was founded with four families who had a desire to provide a vibrant testimony of faith in Yeshua to eastern metro-Atlanta. In August 2002, we had our first Shabbat service and we have not stopped growing. In 2004, we moved to our existing campus at Bancroft Circle

Consistent with the tenets of Messianic Judaism, Beth Adonai maintains a Jewish identity, heritage and culture which reflects the faith and practice of the first-century Believers. We seek to be a welcoming community where people from a variety of religious (both Jew and Gentile) and ethnic backgrounds can feel at home. As a blended and inclusive community, we seek to cultivate a positive place for interfaith couples and people from the wider Jewish community.

Given the events which occurred in Israel on October 7, 2023 (22 Tishrei 5784) and the correlating uptick seen in antisemitism, Beth Adonai has implemented additional security measures for visiting non-members. Antisemitic incidents have increased by almost 400 percent since October 7, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

For all visitors and non-members, bags, backpacks, etc.. will be inspected by a member of the security team.  Failure to allow inspection may lead to our security team asking you to leave the campus.

Please note on Saturday mornings at 11:30am, the main front doors to the building are closed and access is then controlled through the left side of the building lower entry door.

Nursery Information:

We have a well-equipped nursery, and loving staff to care for your child during the service. The Nursery is located downstairs on the right side of the Fellowship Hall. A flashing pager will be given to you when you check in in case you are needed during the service.

You are Invited to Stay for Oneg (lunch) after Service:
Every week after service the Congregation provides a free lunch to anyone who wishes to stay. We invite you to stay and have a bite to eat and fellowship. Sharing a meal provides a relaxed opportunity for people to get to know each other better and enjoy a time of fellowship over a meal. . Come stay and share a meal with us.

Special Worship Services to Celebrate the Feasts and Festivals:
We celebrate all the Feasts and Festivals as an expression of our faith in Messiah Yeshua. We also use these events as an outreach opportunity to the community. From the Purim celebration, Passover Seder, High Holy Day services, and Hanukkah celebration, there are many opportunities to share in the rich roots of our faith.

Please refer to the website for dates and times of these events.

About  our founder Rabbi Scott (1966-2021):

Rabbi Scott Sekulow accepted Yeshua as his Messiah during Yom Kippur services in 1992. In 1994, he answered the call for full-time ministry work. Following the call to actively pursue international mission work, Rabbi Scott founded Israel’s Harvest Ministries. In 2002, World Magazine recognized his work by naming him as one of the most influential Messianic Jews of the past 5 centuries. Rabbi Scott has ministered in many countries – Israel, Ukraine, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, and Cuba to name a few.

In 2001, Rabbi Scott  and his wife, Judy, planted Congregation Beth Yeshua in Macon, GA and in 2002 founded  Congregation Beth Adonai. In June 2007 “The Messianic Hour with Rabbi Scott” a national weekly radio show was launched and ran successfully for seven years.
